Hati & Ernesto dressed to the nines for an evening on the Golden Coast, Taiwan.
Lions, tigers, cable cars, tea, pandas, oh my! It doesn’t matter if you’re five or thirty five: the Taipei Zoo and Maokong Gondola ride are a must see while in Taipei and we’re genuinely happy we did.
Is the dull rain of Taipei, Taiwan getting you down? Looking for some creative inspiration off the beaten path? Take a short walk (even if it’s drizzling) through the Treasure Hill Artist Village: explore the modernly concrete alleyways, sketch the street bunny graffiti art, and create whimsical photo-op scenes in an open air room with human size fortune cookie sculptures. If you appreciate architecture and art, and like to explore without hundreds of tourists, then this is a quiet, interesting option to check out with a morning or afternoon in Taipei.
It’s been real, Thailand. Our visa is up and we are headed to Taipei, Taiwan. Bring on the cafes, the zoo, and panda shaped bread! I realize I’ve skipped over most of Bali & our three saweet weeks in Bangkok (ft. cute cat cafes & delicious street food) , but fear not – I will certainly catch y’all up on what we did there in the coming weeks. Promise.
Here’s a preview of the awesomeness that’s to come for our Taipei trip & some of our must see adventure time spots coming up in this week’s posts: Continue reading Peace out, Thailand! A preview of our adventure time in Taipei, Taiwan.
