Is the dull rain of Taipei, Taiwan getting you down? Looking for some creative inspiration off the beaten path? Take a short walk (even if it’s drizzling) through the Treasure Hill Artist Village: explore the modernly concrete alleyways, sketch the street bunny graffiti art, and create whimsical photo-op scenes in an open air room with human size fortune cookie sculptures. If you appreciate architecture and art, and like to explore without hundreds of tourists, then this is a quiet, interesting option to check out with a morning or afternoon in Taipei.
Welp, it’s official. Eric and I have set sail for southeast Asia. And there’s no one I’d rather go with (plus our pipsqueaks, Hati & Ernesto, duh).
Our first touch down: Taipei – we’ll leave the airport next time, Taiwan! Promise.
Okay, okay, so our first real touchdown: Bali!
